The goal was to make a plugin that calculates the outer envelope of an IFC model. This is the first hour of that development.
You see the developer using bimviews and the Query language (JSON) to evaluatie the quality of the testmodel (between 2:50 and 4.26). After that he gathers the elements in the plugin using Java code.
The result is put into a text file that is added as 'extended data' to the revision.

The development is done in Eclipe.
You see the use of BIMserver, bimvie.ws, the BIMserver Javascript API, the Query/filter language, the use of extended data, etc. etc. etc.
After an hour a first prototype is ready. This still needs to be finetuned but it shows the principle of creating small applications very fast by using BIMserver.org
