'Pacific Currents' television show episode #208: Host Suzy Gurton interviews Guests Ed Lopez, Jefferson Union High School District's Wilderness School Teacher, with two of his student instructors, Marcus and Roy, and Seva Steel, Ocean Shore 8th-grade teacher, with one of her students, Trent, about the White Hawk Adventures Ropes Course located on the top of San Bruno Mountain in Daly City, CA.

The White Hawk Adventure Ropes Course is primarily designed for young men and women. The course offers over 30 events of physical and psychological difficulty. Activities are able to include all persons of average health and can be instantly adjusted and matched to the physical abilities of individual participants. From 7 inches to 40 feet above the ground, these expose participants to their own unique capabilities and potential. A human relations course taught in the treetops...with the use of stress-challenging events to promote personal growth, self-confidence, creativity, problem solving and group dynamics. Mixing cooperative events with self-competitive experience, this course offers individuals opportunity to become involved in adventure within a context of mutual support and encouragement from one's peers.

The White Hawk Adventure Ropes Course is used by public and private schools, recreation agencies, youth groups and local public safety departments and agencies.
