Hello, I'm Dr. David Horne, Director of the Cal State Long Beach MBA Programs and I would like to tell you about the Career Services that will be available to you once you begin any of our three MBA programs. Starting at the Orientation, the MBA Career Advisor will guide you through the registration process for BeachLINK, the campus portal to a wide variety of career related events and employment opportunities. BeachLINK provides access to local, regional and national listings for fulltime positions and internships, as well as career resources for international students.

The MBA Career Advisor offers workshops to assist you in polishing resumes and cover letters,
enhancing networking and interviewing skills,
and conducting an organized and effective job search.

Individual career coaching is also available to you, customized to meet your specific needs.
These might include assisting you in articulating precise career goals and developing strategies for
securing an internship,
new employment,
or advancement with your current employer, as well as fine-tuning your resume or practice interviews with opportunity for feedback.

These services continue for a year beyond your graduation as we work with you to maximize your career potential with your new MBA.

Here at the MBA Program of Cal State Long Beach, we know you are considering an MBA so you can pursue an alternate career path or to improve your upward mobility within your current firm. We offer a host of specialized services to enable you to achieve those goals.
