EX-BELL EMPLOYEE PLEADS INNOCENT
A former Pacific Bell employee who took several hostages and destroyed about $10 million in telephone equipment in a rage over the loss of retirement benefits pleaded innocent Wednesday to eight felony counts. Anthony Apodaca, 47, of Riverside pleaded innocent to three counts of false imprisonment, three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of burglary and one count of vandalizing telephone equipment, Deputy District Attorney Danuta Tuszynska said.
