Rapper Lil Wayne has been released from prison after serving 8 months of his one-year sentence for attempted gun possession. Plus, President Clinton wishes Weezy good luck!

LIL WAYNE IS OUT OF PRISON AND READY TO GET BACK TO WORK -- WITH AN ENDORSEMENT FROM NONE OTHER THAN FORMER PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON.

WEEZY LEFT NEW YORK'S RIKERS ISLAND PRISON THURSDAY MORNING SHORTLY AFTER 8:30 LOCAL TIME. THE RAP STAR WAS RELEASED AFTER SERVING 8 MONTHS OF HIS ONE-YEAR SENTENCE FOR ATTEMPTED GUN POSSESSION.
