The idea of the proper pillow was to enable that proper alignment while your sleeping so your body can rest and recover while in the optimal alignment. What about sleeping on your stomach? The stomach sleeping is actually quite frankly dangerous OK – you have arteries, three of them that feed the blood to your brain. When you have your neck turned forty-five degrees either way you could be protruding or blocking one of those arteries. Now, there is a better way of sleeping, which is on your side if you are in optimal alignment the proper pillow being you can sleep with your back or on your side you want to have that support.

So when you are on your back it maintains that support and when you are on your side you have the support going that way. Those are two great ways of sleeping if your in optimal alignment. My husband sleeps on his stomach and has for years. Now that he is sleeping with the proper pillow I’ve noticed that when I wake up before him he is sleeping on his back or on his side so does it kind of train you to sleep properly? Eileen I’m glad you asked that because when I built this it was five years of development and R&D with 77 prototypes and when I knew I had it right, I was waking up on my back with the proper pillow.
