This educational video explains all the planets in the Inner Solar System were researched and discovered using telescopes here on Earth and interplanetary probes from NASA and other space agencies. The inner solar system consists of all the planets that orbit the Sun. In addition to planets, the Solar System is also made up from various moons, comets, asteroids, minor planets, and dust and gas. All objects in the Solar System are bound by gravity and orbit the Sun. The inner solar system planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. All being solid and isolated by the asteroid belt, separating them from the gas planets, Saturn, Jupiter, Neptune, & Uranus.
