Making Faces was my first beauty book, I believe I was 14, I've been obsessed with the art of transforming your face with makeup! Love U Emily!!!

Just a heads up. Scott Barnes just released another book called Face to Face.

If I remember correctly, Em did a video a few years back that was similar to this one but she talked about a few different books and I seem to recall her mentioning Paula Begoun. Personally, I think that book is a great way to learn how skin-care directly affects your makeup application. It also teaches how to read the ingredients labels on cosmetic products. It's definitely one to read, in my opinion.

"Makeup is Art" reminds me of the Effie from the Hunger Games! (haha although i know effie's look definitely isn't original)

Thanks so much for the recs! Have you read the book by Paula Begoun's "don't go to the cosmetics counter without me", and if so, what did you think? It's a fun book, as she reviews various skin care products and cosmetics based on their ingredients and other factors. Thanks for your input :)
