We are tackling the problem of pain in children with cancer through a social media campaign for parents called “Making Cancer Less Painful for Kids” (#KidsCancerPain). A team of researchers, led by Dr. Christine Chambers (IWK Health Centre & Dalhousie University) and Dr. Jennifer Stinson (SickKids & University of Toronto), has partnered with the Cancer Knowledge Network to bring parents the very best, cutting-edge research evidence about children’s cancer pain. We are sharing this information with parents in a series of blogs, videos, images, Facebook posts, and Twitter chats. Follow the hashtag #KidsCancerPain on social media and visit our website, https://cancerkn.com/kidscancerpain/, to learn more.

Funding for this research provided by a Knowledge to Action grant from the Canadian Cancer Society.
