I've had Dupuytren's Disease for about 15 years. I first noticed a nodule in the palm of my hand but it was no more than that for five or six years. Then a cord started to form on the fascia and it contracted my ring and middle fingers toward my palm. The cause of Dupuytren's is unknown and up until now the only treatment was surgery. Now there's an enzyme injection that's in the third round of FDA testing. I am in this study and getting the injection later today. This is my experience.
