could someone please explain me the technique here, is it picking/pulling each single note or should there be some tapping/hammering included? couldn't figure it out yet. thx

How did you get such a clean distorted sound? By that I mean when Chris plays it and when you play the faster parts the bass is still distorted but the sound doesn't blend into one big mess of distortedness. I am trying to play it but I just keep getting a horrible too much distorted sound.. but when I lower the distortion down it doesn't sound right either! Can you tell me what pedals you used please?

the lower part is wrong but pretty good apart from that (and to people who start getting butthurt its because its played an octave higher and has harmonics used to create a high pitch sound inbetween playing the lower part)
