Q: How long did it take you to grow your hair that long?
A: I estimate between 8-10 years. In reality I've been growing it longer, but I've had a few decent haircuts (6 inches, 8 inches, and my most recent cut was almost 18 inches).

Q: What's up with your waist?
A: I'm wearing a corset. See my other videos; this channel is dedicated to corsetry. I just do hair videos as an "aside" once in awhile. FYI, my waist is normally 27-28 inches, and this corset makes it 25 inches. It's not crazy small at all. This is the "bat cincher" from Isabella Corsetry.

Q: Have you had surgery?
A: Apart from having my wisdom teeth removed, I've never had any procedures done, cosmetic or otherwise.

Q: Why isn't my comment showing up?
A: I've put these comments on approval only because of too many rude and ignorant people. "Hate speech" is not a universal right. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Q: Why don't you donate your hair to cancer?
A: I already donate blood, donate time, and donate money when I can to charity. I also have a degree in biochemistry and worked in a lab for several years studying cellular processes related to cancer, with a goal in better understanding the disease and contributing to finding a potential new treatment. Additionally the recent exposées of several charitable wig organizations has made me disappointed in their non-transparency; I can't trust them to make my hair into a wig, or to sell it to a hair salon for extensions to make a quick profit. I love my hair and prefer to keep it part of my body. For more info see this video:

Q: Why do you cut your own hair instead of going to a salon?
A: I stopped getting trims at the hair salon after a hairdresser cut off several feet when I was 12 years old. Thus, I had to learn how to trim my own hair. This is a step-by-step video of how I trim my hair, using the directions found on JJJ LongHair's website:

why so many dislikes? It's not like she hacked her hair. It was simple and clean, leaving the hair fresh and healthy.
I hear ya girl I hate combs too
My hair is fluffy like yours, and it's 42 inches long. :) I already use coconut oil to hydrate it, but I was wondering if you have any other tips for making it poof less? My arm would fall off from exhaustion if I tried straightening it with an iron.

Your hair is so beautiful. You should use a wet brush though for your hair, they work much better because the teeth are more flexible and gentle on the hair. 😊✨
