Introducing Vortex and Machine DNA from Delcam! These revolutionary roughing technologies will feature in forthcoming versions of PowerMILL, FeatureCAM, Delcam for SolidWorks and PartMaker.

Capable of 2 axis, 3 axis, 3+2 axis and Rest Area Clearance: - 2D curves - 3D surfaces and solids - Stock models or reference toolpaths

Initial tests have shown that Vortex and Machine DNA will save up to 60% in machining time, based on the trial shown in this video which compares the Vortex strategy against the optimum use of the existing Conventional High Feed Roughing strategies currently available in PowerMILL:
