Project 21 chairman Mychal Massie explains the process of trying to contact Al Sharpton, Marc Morial and Walter Fauntroy to engage in a debate about the trio's past angry and sometimes uncivil remarks about the tea party movement and the reason to press on and hold a "empty chair debate" when they failed to respond to Mychal's challenge.

The Project 21 black leadership network is a program of The National Center for Public Policy Research. This debate took place on 2/28/11 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
