This version of "Strutting With Some Barbeque" was recorded at The Harp Hotel, Albrighton, Shropshire, England on Tuesday, Aug. 14th. 2007 by the Heart of England Jazz Band with special guest Frank Pardoe on tenor sax.

I make no excuse for putting a second video of HoE and Frank as I think this one is much better quality...and 80 years old Frank deserves it!

The band were in fine form and the usual line-up of Sewyn Newton on clarinet, Pete Ainge on trumpet, Kevin Grenfell on trombone, Roger Heath on bass, Clive Millward on drums and Dave Smith on banjo was joined again by one of our regular, 80 years old Frank Pardoe who is a great favourite with the audience. Frank always gets a rousing reception....and why not at 80+?

Sessions at the Harp are held every Sunday lunchtime and Tuesday evening. Details from John Howell on 01902 756158
