This is a video showing how to fix the macBook power supplies. These power supplies have a tendency to get very worn at the point where the low voltage wire leaves the casing leading to sparks. Since the replacement cost is fairly high, this is a fairly worthwhile project for someone who is handy with a soldering iron and whose computer is out of warrantee. This is an intermediate soldering project - you need to be able to navigate very tight spaces without burning the other components. You also have to be fairly handy with a rotary tool. The plastic for the case is VERY thick. This video is for INFORMATION only! If you do not do this correctly, you could wind up with shock, fire, death, or even a fried computer! Check out our sponsor - Laptoplifts.com. They work to protect (the rest of) your computer permanently!
