Warren G. Harding High School FIRST Team 48 Delphi E.L.I.T.E. (www.delphielite.com) students and mentors demonstrate their t-shirt cannon "Maude" to the crowd at a Harding Raiders football game.

The robot's base actually began life as Team 48's 2010 FIRST Robotics Competition "Breakaway" robot, xtremachen13. We decided that robot deserved a second life with a more meaningful purpose, so we used it as a summer project for our students, stripping it down and designing and building a pneumatic Gatling-style t-shirt cannon on top of it.

The inspiration for the revolving cannon design came from FRC Team 254 - The Cheesy Poofs - http://team254.com/shockwave/. We added a motor-driven Geneva wheel barrel exchanger mechanism that does not require additional pneumatic hardware to help index and lock in each barrel during firing.

The song which makes the video - For Those About To Rock (We Salute You), by AC/DC...who I am positive would think that their song's use in this FIRST Robotics-related video would be awesomely cool and relevant to the action.

With special guest appearance by the highly-regarded and very talented Warren G. Harding High School Raider Marching Band...which also contains like half our team.
