Solvang, California

Our destination this stop is the small city of Solvang, California. Located northeast of Santa Barbara, Solvang is a Danish themed town founded by Danish immigrants. Full of wonderful restaurants, it has become a popular tourist destination for those looking for good pastries, Aebleskiver, fudge and wine and was a setting in the movie Sideways. We look at the Hans Christian Anderson museum, the Santa Ynez Mission, and the Elverhoj museum.
