Without an Interpreter was written and directed by Daniel Kapper during Spring 2013 to support the Northern Illinois University Disability and Accessibility Tutorial (http://www.niu.edu/accessibility/). It is one of several short videos developed by students in a media production course led by Professors Laura Vazquez and Greg Long. Without an Interpreter uses a "Twilight Zone" approach to considering accommodations. What would it be like if everyone knew and used sign language and you didn't? Who would be handicapped then?
