Kris Sanchez of NBC 11 interviews John Nakhla on "Today in the Bay" about the upcoming Come-in-Unity Carnival in Pleasanton, CA. This event is hosted by St. Mary & St. John Coptic Orthodox Church on 4300 Mirador Drive.

The Come-in-Unity Carnival is a community event with fun games, delicious Egyptian & Mediterranean cuisine, great prizes and live music. This year's carnival is dedicated to the "Martyrs of Maspiro" - victims of religiously-driven attacks by the Egyptian Army on Coptic Christians who were peacefully protesting in a suburb of Cairo.

Proceeds from this event will go towards helping the victims of this attack and supporting efforts to raise awareness of ongoing persecution against Coptic Christians in Egypt in the chaotic aftermath of the Egyptian Revolution.
