I've been playing the classic Sonic games more or less since the day they each launched, and as such I've become very formulaic with how I play them. The slightest thing can be "off" and, for me, it'll rear its head like an angry beast, while other people may not even notice or think twice about it.

I'm not harping on Christian Whithead's effort of rebuilding Sonic CD; he's done an amazing job and I'm glad someone at Sega FINALLY realized that people in their own fan community can do a better job on a Sonic game than even the company itself.

This was just one thing in particular that caught me off-guard... I'm sure it has something to do with collision detection on curved-ground surfaces and the auto-dash tunnel entrances. Whatever the case, it's the 360 version first, and then the Sega CD version loaded in Kega Fusion on my laptop (couldn't be bothered to dig out all the actual hardware)
