I really appreciate your nice& sincere instructions because nobody told me about the preparation to headstand like you before. It was so clear to get me into the headstand position although the time is not ready for me yet. You're my best yoga teacher ever Sadie, love you!

Hey! I hope you can help me. I would like to know whats the exact difference between the headstand with hand pushing on the floor and the one you did. Thank you

Also, to let people reading this know, I'm not using more effort to stay off the neck. I'm using balanced effort to balance the pressure on the neck with other parts of the body. Often, students don't develop arm or core strength to go up into headstand, and end up jamming all the body weight into the neck. After massaging a student for an hour who slipped a cervical disc in a yoga class [not mine] while doing Tripod headstand, I'd just say, Ritter, be careful how lightly you view headstanding.

Hi there, I'm pretty sure you're not a yoga teacher, because if you were, you would have firsthand experience that using a wall is FAR more stabilizing for the student than trying it in the middle of the room, and causes far LESS falling. Yes, people balance things on their heads, and spin..but they do it for hours a day sometimes, and for years. Most students practice the pose once a week. Chiropractors, physical therapists and doctors can tell you about the increase in yoga neck injuries
