Apologies for the awful capture of the video (free program, and it's late, and I've got work tomorrow - and I've got to vote too), but I was horrified to see that the BBC have planned the titles to their 2010 General Election coverage without the iconic Rick Wakeman music.

So I've done it for them, using the swooping choirs and massed orchestra of the 1992 arrangement (which I think is rather OTT for an election featuring John Major and Paddy Ashdown).

I think the visuals, with clips of past prime ministers, are terrific. Particularly the bit where the sun appears to shine out of Blair's back side.

I've cheated ever so slightly by slowing down the flight over South London (Look! There's my house!) in the second half of the titles, but apart from that the music fits terrifically.
