This was originally one of the replaced music tracks in Sonic & Knuckles Collection for the PC. (Supposedly) as believed by some during the development of Sonic 3 on the Mega Drive, Michael Jackson turned his back on FM synthesis as he was not happy with the sound result coming out of the console. He (apparently) didn't want to be associated with a product that devalued his music. So changes were made and certain music tracks were edited right out of the rom and in the end, as payback FM synthesis turned it's back on Michael Jackson aswell with this remarkable gem of a tune in FM synthesis.

This music track got mocked and hated for replacing MJ's Ice Cap Zone music in Sonic 3 and now in FM synthesis it sounds better than his Ice Cap Zone tune.

Because we all know that Michael Jackson is certainly not needed to make good FM music on the Mega Drive.

Talented rom hacker and retro Sonic programmer nineko has revived this music track for his Sonic 1 hack called ''soniNeko'' in 2008.
