No doubt "Advertising" does practice "Social Engineering", but your excellent video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBQTgc... portrays more than that. It portrays a relentless Civil War aimed at Social Domination. The Violence theme is aimed at inducing pervasive Fear - most importantly of each other. No one is trustworthy. Everyone is selfish; and selfish people are untrustworthy.
The News operates along the same lines as Advertising. Both are part of the Public Relations industry. If we accept the aphorism that 'the first casualty of war is truth' then it is clear that the Public Relations industry is actually an instrument of waging war against The Public - perpetual war.
The obscure Rulers are powerful enough to use nations as pawns. The USA, Great Britain, Germany, NATO (and its member nations) etc, all behave like pawns serving interests not only other than - but also opposed to - the interests of the people of the nations concerned. Plainly the Rulers are transnational.
The major pawn at present is the USA. It is clear that the US Government is operating against the interests of the American people - whose standard of living is sliding inexorably to a level of lowness that we ordinary folk can only guess at. It is conceivable that part of the Rulers' long term strategy is the destruction of the USA, on the grounds that the American people constitute their greatest current enemy.
Above all else, it is clear that the path that the people of the world are being driven down is insane!
