I'm an atheist. I'm studying to work for CPS, I donate blood regularly, I'm going to Africa next year to help build schools and provide medical attention, I've talked several people out of suicide and I'm volunteering in a program that helps children overcome bullying and/or the loss of a family member. Tell me more about how I have no morals.

I know many non-believers that live a more just moral life than many believers. I consider myself a devout Christian by the way.

Five arguments against this nonsense bombarding your mailbox: 1. The bible is hardly morally defenceable. (as you and others pointed out). 2. In Christianity you can do any evil you like, have a sip of wine and a cracker and be absolved of all responsibility. In terms of being judged for ones actions by a higher power, isn't this just as bad a mindset as believing in no god at all? 3. Morality is not following a list of rules. It doesn't say anything about what you think and feel. If the (holy) law is the only thing keeping you from slaughter and rape of other people you are not a moral person. 4. Right and wrong don't exist. Good or evil is what we say it is. Human rights are right because they are sound, not because they are true. Morals are relative, not absolute. 5. Look empirically at the world. Are there less christians involved in crime you deem as immoral? Most likely upon investigation your answer will be no.
