The transformation of San Francisco's freeway-dominated Central Corridor into a pedestian-oriented ecodistrict was the focus of SWA Group's 2012 Summer Program for grad school interns. With valuable input from the City Planning Department and other outside experts, students from leading universities offered well-thought ideas with real-world potential, which the Planning staff welcomed as part of their research into a final implementation concept.
