Czech Television’s second documentary film on artist Mark Podwal offers a portrait of the creative process behind his 2014 Terezin Ghetto Museum exhibition. Each artwork resembles a book’s pages on which the tragedies pictured are paired with biblical verses from Psalms. Filmed in Prague, Terezin, Auschwitz, Krakow and in New York at the Met Museum, Met Opera and Eldridge Street Synagogue, the documentary includes interviews with leading personalities discussing Podwal’s art.
