Transmited on ETV in July o4, 2010 at 2:30 pm local time, program name እሁድ መዝናኛ (Ehud mezingna) features a person named Zewdie though forgot his last name, who claims he is 128 years old man. His age is calculated based on his oral history. In his interview with ETV's Journalist he said he was seven years old when King Menelik sweared in as king of kings of Ethiopia in 1889 (for reference you can check wikipedia encyclopedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menelik_...). He also said he was one of the 90 bodyguards of King Menelik.

If it is proven to be 128 years old, not only he will be the oldest person alive in the world, he could also be the oldest person in history. According to wikipedia, currently the oldest person alive is Eugénie Blanchard, 114 years old, from France while the oldest person in history was Jeanne Calment, dead at 122 years and also from France.

When seen on TV I think he can live for another 3-5 years because his appearance is not terrible and he can walk, also when he talks it is clear for any one to understand but unfortunately he was blind since he was 98 years old.
