The Social Group is a film about a group of teenagers with high functioning autism that has been meeting every Friday for the past 10 years. To gain insight into the world of autism as well as the idea of neurodiversity, her film is told in the voices of each members. Ultimately, the film hopes to challenge our preconceived notions of what true friendship, happiness and love ought to look like—as revealed by the social group.
