St Mirren ended a run of six consecutive defeats and gave themselves some breathing space at the foot of the SPL table after a 3-1 win over ten-man Dundee at St Mirren Park. Colin Nish was sent off for the visitors before Steven Thompson put the Buddies ahead. Ryan Conroy equalised from the penalty spot in the second half but Thompson got his second and Dougie Imrie scored his first goal in a St Mirren shirt as Danny Lennon's side triumphed.
