HydroSeeding a new lawn is a cost effective option for obtaining a lush healthy lawn. HydroSeeding is a cheaper option to instant turf, though the same amount of ground preparation is required.

The mulch mixture used in HydroSeeding helps to keep hungry birds at bay, stops wind blowouts and erosion control. If watered correctly the moisture is retained closer to the seed aiding in earlier germination.

HydroSeeding is a process of combining water, premium grass seed, fertiliser and protective mulch together, which is then sprayed onto prepared soil. This mulch mixture bonds the seed to the soil, preventing erosion from of the windblown soil and light rain. The fertiliser and mulch mixture provides an ideal nurturing environment for seed germination to establish a lush dense, healthy lawn.

Germination time will depend on the weather and the consistency of watering after application. In optimum growing conditions, including sufficient watering and warm ground temperatures, germination can be achieved in just 5 days. You new lawn could be requiring a mow in approximately 3 weeks. Generally lawn germination will take approximately 10 -14 days depending upon watering and ground temperatures.
