Bonnie Bonner speaks about growing up on a military post (Fort DuPont) during the Great Depression. She lived at Fort DuPont (Delaware) from 1928 until 1941. Her father was Warrant Officer Edward Bonner, who was a veteran of World War 1. Fort DuPont was a major coast artillery and engineer post from the turn of the century until the end of World War II.
