Harry Ornest bought the Canadian Football League's Toronto Argonauts in late 1988, as the team was preparing to move into the new SkyDome. As part of the move, the club fired general manager Leo Cahill, who was in his third stint with the Boatmen. Ornest sold the club two years later to a group that included Bruce McNall, Wayne Gretzky and John Candy. Here is how TSN reported on the sale to Ornest.
