MONTGOMERYVILLE, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a man shot and killed a woman before turning the weapon on himself in the suburban Philadelphia town house they shared.
Police in Montgomery County said the bodies of 56-year-old Leroy Wilson and 36-year-old Brienne Francisco were found Thursday evening in a Montgomery Township home.
More than a dozen residents were initially evacuated to the parking lot of a nearby shopping center as officers arrived to investigate the gunfire.
District Attorney Kevin Steele said the Philadelphia medical examiner's office ruled Francisco's death a homicide, while the Montgomery County coroner's office ruled Wilson's death a suicide.
Investigators have not specified the relationship between the two or commented on a possible motive for the shootings.
