The Parvatha malai as mentioned is referred to as 'Southern Kailasam', commomerated for Sri Mallikarjuna swamy, Sri Bramarambigai enshrined by one of the 18 tamil siddhars Sri BHOGAR Sitthar. This whole place is being cared by Vanadurgai, Veerabhadra Swamy. Many siddhars are still believed to worship the moolavar even today along with the devathas on every full moon day. This is the first foot step taken by Lord Shiva after the event in Thiruvannamailai. It heighs about 4,200 ft (approx). It is worth visiting this kshethra once in a lifetime, just as equal to visiting Manasa sarovar!! Please come and be blesse.
