About an hour north of Houston, Lake Livingston State Park sits along 635 acres of the east Texas reservoir. In addition to fishing and boating, the heavily wooded park is a nice place to hike, bike, camp or just picnic by the lake. The park also has a swimming pool and stables for horseback riding.
