Explanation: If your Kindle Fire USB port is badly broken (with lifted traces) sometimes there is only one way of a least getting the device to charge again : rewire the power traces directly from the USB port to the motherboard. Because the video is so blurry I'll explain it in written for now. The the pins leading the power are 1 and 5. Pin 1 being all the way on the right side looking at it from the side of the port, where the cord is plugged in. GND is Pin 5 all the way on the opposite side. Look at the board closely and follow where the (lifted) traces were supposed to be leading to. Now wire Pin 1 and 5 of the port to their intended destinations using the most flexible insulated wire you can find.
