World renowned scientist and committed atheist Richard Dawkins has joked about the influence of religion in Northern Ireland. Professor Dawkins was at the Strand Arts Centre in east Belfast alongside the American theoretical physicist and cosmologist Lawrence Krauss. More than 400 people attended two screenings of a documentary about the two men, called the Unbelievers, which follows them in their campaign to promote science and reason over faith.
