豆腐のチキン南蛮風

1人分

材料:
木綿豆腐 1/2丁(150g)
片栗粉 適量
サラダ油 適量

■甘酢タレ
砂糖 大さじ2
しょうゆ 大さじ1
酢 大さじ2

■タルタルソース
ゆで卵(刻む) 2個
玉ねぎ(みじん切り) 1/4個
マヨネーズ 大さじ3
レモン汁 小さじ1
塩 少々
コショウ 少々

キャベツ(千切り) 適量
トマト(くし切り) 適量

作り方:
1.豆腐はキッチンペーパーで包んで水気を切っておく。

2.豆腐の厚みを半分に切り、横半分に切って両面に片栗粉をまぶす。

3.フライパンにサラダ油を引いて中火に熱し、(2)を並べ入れる。焼き目が付いたら裏返し、両面焼けたら一度取り出す。

4.(3)のフライパンに甘酢タレの調味料を全て入れて弱火にかけ、とろみが付いたら豆腐を戻し入れて絡める。

5.タルタルソースを作る。ボウルに玉ねぎ、マヨネーズ、塩、コショウ、レモン汁を加えて混ぜ、ゆで卵を加えて混ぜ合わせる。

6.器に(4)を盛ってタルタルソースをかけ、千切りキャベツやトマトを添えたら、完成!

Tofu Namban

INGREDIENTS
150 grams tofu
Cornstarch, for dusting
Vegetable oil, for frying
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 hard-boiled eggs, mashed
¼ medium white onion, finely chopped
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
Kosher salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Shredded green cabbage, for serving
Tomato wedges, for serving

PREPARATION
Dust the tofu on both sides with cornstarch.
Heat the vegetable oil in a medium pan over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (180˚C).
Fry the tofu until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
In a another medium pan, combine the sugar, soy sauce, and vinegar, and heat over medium heat until just before boiling.
Add the tofu to the sauce and flip until the tofu is well coated. Remove from the heat and set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine the mashed eggs, onion, mayonnaise, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well.
Plate the tofu and top with the mashed egg. Serve with cabbage and tomato alongside.
