Since the end of the 20th century emerging countries like China, India and Brazil have seen their influence increased on the global stage. This geopolitical shift, particularly meaningful in the area of world trade, has been accelerated by the financial and economic crisis. How significant is the rise of emerging economies to the global trading system and the WTO? H.E.
