It's billed as a dinner celebrating journalists rather than putting them to work, but the White House Correspondents Dinner always seems to break news.

Late night staple Jimmy Kimmel will host this year's event, and he's admitted he's a little nervous.

"There's no Bullsh---ting your way through something like this," says Kimmel. "You really have to be prepared."

Previous host Stephen Colbert was so prepared that his satirical cement job on President George W. Bush went viral. Kimmel may have a different tack: He's hoping to make President Obama laugh.

Another potential source of gossip from this year's event: The "dates" that certain TV news organizations are bringing.

While ABC will have Hunger Games actress Elizabeth Banks and Conservative star New Jersey Governor Chris Christie in tow, Fox News is keeping it classy with Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian. That's one way to get the ratings up—or to ensure some of us will be watching only the highlight reel.
