Research isn’t just the domain of our world-leading faculty at LSE. Postgraduates conducting independent research find that they tap into the heart of the active research environment and gain a rich complement of personal and professionally transferable skills in the process. Winner of the MSc Conflict Studies dissertation prize, Teresa explains how researching and writing her Postgraduate Government dissertation (GV499) extended her academic and professional horizons.

Teresa works with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat)/Somalia Country Programme, as Land Programme Manager on the UN Joint Programme for Local Governance and Decentralised Service Delivery. She is based in Nairobi.
