Review of the Dremel 220 (220-01) drill stand vs. the Proxxon Micromot MB 140/S drill stand and IB/E drill. Purchased both for drilling PCBs. For more information head over to www.pavius.net.

Please stop or minimize using the word thingy/thing -one is cute enough, twice or more just shows you lack the know-how. Also the cross axis motion can simply be referred to as wobble. But aside from that, a really useful review :)

Kinda looks like the dremel stand is ment for the 4000 not 300 dremel

Good review. I agree with you, the proxxon is fantastic, both the tool itself and the stand. I ended up buying both and after several years using it daily in my shop both are still like new and work perfectly.

the problem isn't the workstation... it's the user...

Dremel is like the Nintendo of DIY and hardware. It uses low-quality materials, and you shouldn't expect miracles from it, but if you want to make light projects, they are worth the buying.

I like how he said he put the Dremel tool in crooked in the stand but he said it would be ok for this test what a moron.
Great review. But one question.  Can I use Proxxon drill stand with dremel tool?

thanks for the video man I was just thinking of buying one I guess I'll just get a drill press (y)
Engineers know that plastic flexes at a certain frequency. Metal quash vibration at more frequencies.  Look at the horizontal play at 3:12 is greater than 5mm by the looks - gross negligence in construction.
