On May 10, 2011, members of the Anti-Negrophobia Brigade (B.A.N) were violently expelled by the police from an official ceremony supposedly honoring the memory of slavery, the slave trade, and their so-called "abolitions"

On May 10th 2013, police forces reoffended after receiving, once again, the order not to let 3 members of the Anti-Negrophobia Brigade enter the public space in which took place the very same official ceremony, supposedly honoring the memory of their deported African ancestors who would be reduced to slavery by the French Nation.

For each of those commemorations, the members of the Anti-Negrophobia Brigade were carrying their invitation cards stamped with the seal of the French Nation. In spite of that, among the hundreds of guests in possession of this permission to enter, the same safe-conduct pass, they were the only ones who were, each time, the target of the police...
The recurrence of the arrest during the same ceremony prevents us from believing it was a simple coincidence. We are constrained to enquire into the reasons for such police harassment. The remaining question now is to understand what is so disturbing about the Anti-Negrophobia Brigade. Is it the Anti-Negrophobia Brigade T-shirt or our skin color that disturbs you ?
