Evers, a research fellow at the Hoover Institution, discusses "Closing the Door on Innovation - Why One National Curriculum is Bad for America," with TOP-Ed.org's John Fensterwald. The document, which Evers organized and co-wrote, asserts that the federal government, in pushing the adoption of Common Core standards and in funding assessments of the standards, is moving the nation toward a harmful national curriculum. Interview in San Jose in May 2011.
