The Design of Experiments Wizard in Version 17 creates A-optimal, D-optimal, G-optimal and I-optimal experimental designs. Analysts specify the number of runs to be performed, the model to be fit, and any constraints on combinations of the experimental factors. The computer then generates the experimental runs to be performed. These designs are useful when the number of runs must be kept as low as possible, when experimentation at certain factor combinations is not feasible, or when a poorly designed experiment needs to be improved.
