4/12/2010- Citigroup analysts are raising their Q3 2010 and Q4 2010 EPS estimates for Thor Industries (NYSE:THO).

The bank now sees Q3 EPS of $0.52, up from $0.47 cents per share, and Q4 EPS of $0.53, up from $0.51 per share.

Analyst Gregory R. Badishkanian said, "The bear case to THO's stock is that recent results were driven by dealer inv. load, and that underlying end-user demand would not follow thru. The most recently available industry data showed the RV industry (towables & motorhomes) declined about 11% in Jan vs down 13% in 4Q. However, our recent dealer checks indicate that while Feb trends remained soft, RV retail sales are seeing very solid improvements during March and early April. We view this pos. as March represents the beg. of the highly relevant Spring selling season and weather in March & April was more normalized, following adverse weather during Jan/Feb that contributed to soft retail trends. Our checks also suggest that dealer inv. levels remain very low and there still appear to be shortages of products."

Citigroup sees fiscal 2010 EPS of $1.69, vs. consensus estimates of $1.74, and fiscal 2011 EPS of $2.28, inline with consensus estimates.
