Speaker include: Aaron Robbs, Design Lead at Kickstarter Josh Seiden, Managing Director of Neo in NYC and author of Lean UX Timoni West, Product Design Alumna of Flickr and Foursquare Cap Watkins, Senior Design Manager at Etsy.
Each share specific projects they are working on, the role of the product designer, how they fit into the design and development team, and more.
Aaron Robbs is the Design Lead at Kickstarter in New York City. Prior to Kickstarter he was the Senior Designer at Mailchimp where he launched a total rebrand and led design on the Voice & Tone project. His work has been awarded and featured in publications such as .NET Magazine, Fast Company, Swiss Miss, CSS Awards and DesignWorkLife. He is from Chattanooga, TN.

He was head of product design at Wall Street innovator Liquidnet, and lead pioneering interaction design teams at Cooper. He is a founder and past President of the Interaction Design Association.

Tyson is a designer at thoughtbot, building and designing digital products. Prior to that, he freelanced, designing websites and iOS apps for small startups and large companies. Tyson is passionate about teaching his craft to others and is picky when it comes to proper quotation marks and other typographical goodness. He’s a self-proclaimed foodie, primarily indulging in everything to do with coffee, cocktails and pie.
