Daniel Buchanan's 300C SRT-8 is a beast. It makes so much power that they had to ditch the factoy auto and fit a Turbo 400 to the car. The engine is a 6.1-litre Hemi stroked out to 7-litre or 426 cubes in the old money. Which meaks it a 426 Hemi (okay so it's not a real 66-71 style 426 Hemi, but it sounds cool anyway). On top sits a 3.4-litre whipple supercharger from Yella Terra and all the work was done by Horsepower Factory in Melbourne. For a street car running pump 98-octane fuel it certainly makes some power.
